1880 born in Jettingen / Germany | 1900 completes training as a building technician – works for various architectural offices | 1907 member of the “Deutscher Werkbund” and the “Bund Deutscher Architekten” (BDA) | 1910 establishes own architectural office in Offenbach | 1926 professor for sacred art at Cologne work schools | 1928~ urban development projects in Hindenburg | 1929 founds “Block Kölner Baukünstler” with colleagues | 1939 returns to Jenningen | 1954 receives the “Großes Verdienstkreuz der BRD” (Great Cross of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany) | ~1955 directs the construction and reconstruction of numerous churches with son Gottfried BÖHM in Cologne | 1955 died in Cologne
