JAPAN STOCK PHOTO is a photo agency for professional users in the publishing, press and advertising media sectors. The archive specialises almost exclusively in Japan and is aimed both at those looking for general visual impressions and those who need specific image material.

The collection, which currently comprises almost 300,000 images on topics ranging from Architecture to Zen, was created between 1984 and 2026 and is continuously updated, expanded and carefully reviewed to ensure accuracy and relevance.

At the same time, the website invites everyone to explore Japan visually. It offers a great opportunity to discover a country that, in many ways, is still little known beyond its clichés. My aim is to develop a comprehensive and valuable visual reference on Japan – an archive that is accessible and useful to all users.
