JAPAN STOCK PHOTOS is a comprehensive photographic archive of Japan, with a particular focus on Japanese architecture, contemporary art and visual culture.

Photographs by Hartmut Pohling document Japan from 1984 to the present day – from the work of leading Japanese and international architects to temples, shrines, castles, gardens, landscapes, cities, traditions and contemporary art.

The archive contains almost 300,000 photographs and is continuously expanded and carefully researched. It serves both as a visual reference on Japan and as a professional source of Japan stock photography for publishing, press and advertising.
