There is a multitude of international architecture prizes and awards that honour architects and architecture firms for specific buildings or their life’s work. The awarding bodies are foundations, cultural institutions, associations of architects, associations of the building industry, companies or clients. The most prestigious prize for modernist architecture is generally the “Pritzker Architecture Prize”.
