The World Expo 2005 > 愛知万博 aichi bampaku < took place in the Japanese Aichi prefecture from March to September 2005. The theme of the world’s fair was “Nature’s Wisdom”. The central Expo site was in the municipality of Nagakute, east of Nagoya City, with other exhibitions in the city of Seto. Expo 2005 was the fifth International Expo in Japan after the Universal Expo ’70 in Ôsaka City, the Specialised Expo ’75 in Okinawa, the Specialised Expo ’85 in Tsukuba and the International Horticultural Expo ’90 in Ôsaka. The World Expo 2025 was held in Japan again.
