Dutch architect, urban planner and university lecturer whose influences include Luigi SNOZZI and James STIRLING, with whom he studied from 1977. Professorships at “TU Karlsruhe”, “Eindhoven University of Technology” and “Delft University of Technology” | 1949 born in Heerlen / Netherlands | 1975 graduates in architecture at Eindhoven University of Technology | 1979 opens own office in Eindhoven | 1987~ is in charge of urban planning in The Hague, Amsterdam, Maastricht, Eindhoven and Tilburg | 1995 wins the BNA Cube, an award of the Association of Dutch Architects (BNA) | 1997 participates in the “Milan Triennale” and “São Paulo Biennale” | 2000-04 becomes “Reichsbaumeister” of the Netherlands | 2013-20 managing director of the “International Building Exhibition”, held in Limburg
