Jan BENTHEM and Mels CROUWEL

Architectural practice founded in 1979. Since 1988 BENTHEM CROUWEL have been working as architects and planners for Amsterdam’s “Schiphol Airport” and since 1989 as supervisors for the “Amsterdam Exhibition and Congress Centre RAI”. Their office is also working on several large-scale infrastructural projects such as the new buildings for the Amsterdam Centraal, Den Haag Centraal, Utrecht Centraal and Rotterdam Centraal railway stations as well as stations on the new Amsterdam Noord-Zuidlijn metro line (north-south line). Their projects include university buildings, concert halls, shopping centres, residential complexes of various sizes, as well as urban planning studies and master plans. BENTHEM CROUWEL have offices in Amsterdam and Düsseldorf.
