Buddhist temple in the city of Kawasaki, main temple of the Chizan school of the Shingon Buddhism. Its reputation for bringing great luck to believers makes it one of the three most popular temples in hatsumōde (first visit of the year to a Buddhist temple or a Shinto shrine), during which two to three million people visit it. The completion of the temple goes back to the begining of the 12th century.
