Swiss sculptor whose sculptures are mostly located in public spaces | 1941 born in St. Gallen, Switzerland | 1958 enrolls at the ‘School of Design’ in Zurich | 1964 studies in Berlin and travels to the USA, lives in New York for a year | 1966 creates first large figures | 1970s has several exhibitions during this time at the Pop Art movement – his inspiration for the colourful version of his large sculptures came from this period | 1976 participats in the ‘International Sculptors’ Congress’ in New Orleans | 1980 opens a studio in Tillson, New York | 1989 moves to Italy, where he works with his wife and two sons | 2024 died in Zurich
