1923 Brigitte MATSCHINSKY-DENNINGHOFF born in Berlin | attends Munich and Berlin art academies | 1949 founds with other artists “ZEN 49” in Munich; becomes assistant to Henry MOORE | 1952-54 stage designer at “Staatstheater Darmstadt” | 1959 participates in documenta II | 1964 documenta III; Venice Biennale | 2011 died in Berlin
1921 Martin MATSCHINSKY born in Grötzingen (Baden) | 1938-40 apprenticeship as a photographer | 1945~ takes part in the Second World War; prisoner of war | 1948-50 becomes an actor; co-founder of “Otto Falckenberg School” in Munich | 1952 meets his future wife at “Staatstheater Darmstadt” and turns to sculpture | 2020 died in Berlin
