The “Venanzo Crocetti Museum” is a foundation in Rome dedicated to his work | 1913 born in Giulianova, Italy | 1928-32 moves to Rome and works as a restorer in the Vatican Laboratories | 1938 wins the “Grand Prize for Sculpture” at the 19th “Venice Biennale” | 1966 finishes “The Door of the Sacraments” of the “Saint Peter’s Basilica” in Vatican City | 1970~ helds his first solo exhibition in Japan (returns often in the following years with anthological exhibitions); “Hermitage Museum” in St. Petersburg dedicates a permanent room to him | 1972 was nominated as president of the “Accademia di San Luca” | 2003 died in Rom
