Czech sculptor who repeatedly causes a sensation and controversy with his art. He gained notoriety in 1991 by painting a Soviet tank pink, a national cultural monument at the time | 1967 born in Prague, Czech Republic | 1988-94 studies at the “Academy of Art, Architecture and Design” in Prague | 1995-96 participates in the independent study programme at the “Whitney Museum” in New York | 2000 designs a sculpture group called “Miminka” (“Babies”) on the occasion of Prague’s designation as cultural capital
