Spanish sculptor and painter who was influenced by the work of Pablo PICASSO and who is considered as one of the most important artists of the Aragonese avant-garde | 1881 born in Provinz Saragossa, Spain | 1888 moves with his family to Barcelona | 1894 completes an unpaid apprenticeship as a caster and stonemason | 1898 takes part in his first joint exhibition in Barcelona | 1900 attends the “La Llotja School of Fine Arts” in Barcelona | 1902 receives a travel grant from this school to go to Paris | 1934 died in Provinz Tarragona, Spain
