Japanese architect, student of TATSUNO Kingô, who designed 80 buildings in his lifetime, 44 of which were located in Nagoya City. He is therefore called “the architect who created Nagoya” | 1870 born in Shizuoka, Suruga Province | 1896 graduates from the department of architecture at the “Imperial University of Technology” | 1897 works  for the  “Mitsui Bank” as an architect | 1903 appointed by the “Ministry of Education” to study in England and France | 1906 becomes professor of architecture at the “Nagoya Institute of Technology” | 1941 died
