Japanese architect who is a member of the “American Institute of Architects” and “Japan Architects Academy” and known for designing high-rise and high-end retail buildings | 1955 born in Iwakuni City, Yamaguchi prefecture | 1978 completes master course in architecture at the “University of Tôkyô” | 1978-82 works for OKADA Shinichi | 1984 completes master course in architecture at “Yale University” | 1984-92 works for Cesar Pelli & Associates | 1992 president of “Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects Japan” | 1995 returns to Tôkyô and founds own office “Jun Mitsui & Associates Architects” | 2007 serves as president of AIA Japan
