Japanese architect, author, member of the “Japan Landscape Forum” and younger brother of ANDÔ Tadao | 1947 born in Kyôto prefecture | 1968 graduates from “Ôsaka Institute of Technology” | 1968-76 works for the “Urban Science Institute” | 1976 participates in J.C.P consultant overseas project: low-rise residential complexes (Kuwait), regional rural planning masterplanning (Kalimantan, Indonesia)  | 1981 establishes “K Planning Office” | 1991 honoured by “Special Award for Commercial Environment Design”, “AIA Honor Aword” – together with Peter EISENMAN
