浦辺鎮太郎 (1909 – 1991)

Japanese architect | 1909 born in Kurashiki City | 1934 graduates from the department of architecture at “Tôkyô Imperial University” (today “University of Tôkyô”); joins “Kurashiki Rayon” (now “Kuraray”), where he designs all the buildings for the company | 1964 sets up his own office “Kurashiki Architectural Office” | 1966 renamed the office to “Urabe Architectural Design Office”; supports ÔHARA Sôichirô (1909-1968) in his vision for Kurashiki´s town planning – even after Ôhara´s death | 1991 died
