Located in the castle town of Shizuoka, west of Sumpu Park, the Shizuoka-Sengen-jinja shrine, which is believed to have been founded in the 10th century and has entered into a religious cooperation with two other local shrines, houses some items, such as garments, believed to have come from TOKUGAWA Ieyasu. The shrine’s main festival is held in early April.
