Kumano Nachi Taisha is a Shintô shrine located on Mount Nachi, Nachi-Katsuura, Wakayama prefecture. Together with Kumano Hongû Taisha, Kumano Hayatama Taisha and the two temples of Seiganto-ji and Fudarakusan-ji, it constitutes the Kumano Sanzan, which refers to the three shrines of the Kii peninsula, one of the most sacred places in Japan. The places are 20 to 40 km apart from each other and connected by Kumano Sankeimichi Nakahechi one of the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage trails.
