Ise-Shima National Park is located on the Ise-Shima Peninsula facing the Pacific Ocean in the southeast of Mie Prefecture. The main attractions in this area are the Ise-daijingû shrine complex, which is revered as a national shrine, the rocks at Futami-ga-ura connected by a straw rope (shimenawa), which symbolize the creator couple Izanami and Izanagi, and the Pearl Island in Toba City.
