Awaji Island + Naruto on Shikoku Island – completed 1985

Completed in 1985, the Naruto-kyô bridge is part of the Honshû-Shikoku motorway and connects the island of Awaji with the city of Naruto on the island of Shikoku at the Naruto Strait. Its total length is 1,692 metres and the longest free-hanging bridge section measures 800 metres.
