Kurushima Kaikyô Bridge

Suspension bridge connecting Ôshima Island with Shikoku Island across the Kurushima Strait in the Seto Inland Sea in Imabari City, Ehime prefecture.  It was the world’s first triple suspension bridge and the longest suspension bridge structure (4105 m) when completed in 1999. It has the Nishi-Seto Expressway in the centre, a bicycle pedestrian path on the north side and a motorbike path on the south side.
