The former Grand Prince Hotel Akasaka on the site was demolished in 2013. The historic “Kitashirakawa Palace” (1955), former mansion of the Crown Prince of Korean Empire, was restored and reopened in 2016 as a function center, equipped with a restaurant, banquet hall and wedding hall, now known as “Akasaka Prince Classic House.”
