Japanese installation and performance artist who lives in Berlin, Germany | 1972 born in Kishiwada, Ôsaka prefecture | 1992-96 she studies at “Kyoto Seika University” | 1996 enrolls at the “University of Fine Arts Hamburg” | 1997-99 studies at the “University of Fine Arts Braunschweig” | 1999-2003 completes her studies at the “Berlin University of the Arts” | 2010-13 visiting professor at Kyoto Seika University | 2011 teaches at the “California College of the Arts” in San Francisco | 2019 large-scale solo exhibition “The Soul Waves” held at the “Mori Art Museum”, looking back on 25 years of activity
