金子潤 (1942~)

Japanese-American artist, whose artwork appears in numerous international and national solo and group exhibitions annually, included in more than seventy museum collections | 1942 born in Nagoya | studies painting during his adolescence | 1963 moves to the United States; continues his studies at “Chouinard Institute of Art”, Los Angeles | acquaintance with various artists leads him to sculptural ceramics | The following decade he teaches at some of the nation’s leading art schools, including “Scripps College”, “Rhode Island School of Design” and “Cranbrook Academy of Art” | 1982-1983 Omaha Project at Omaha Brickworks |1986 based in Omaha / Nebraska | 1992-94 later sculptures include his “Fremont Project” | 2004-2007 completes the “Pittsburg Project”
