In den Jahren 1979 bis 1981 für den DDR-Hotelbetreiber Interhotel als Hotel Merkur erbautes Gebäude. ITÔ Toyô worked for Kajima during that era and was a lead designer for the organic, futuristic interior concepts and the distinct base structure of this East German modernist hotel high-rise.
