Kirche Schönow
Zehlendorf / Berlin / Germany 1961
The Schönow Protestant Church was designed by Frei OTTO and Ewald BUBNER in the architectural style of post-war modernism, consecrated in 1961 and listed as a historical monument in 1995. The tent-like hall church is connected to the parish hall and the free-standing bell tower, built in 1963, via a pergola to form a building complex. The entire complex is one of the early works of both architects.
