Hansaviertel / Hansa Quarter / Berlin / Germany 1886/87
The five-storey building is located in the Hansa Quarter, whose former streetscape was dominated by stately villas. During the Second World War, about 90% of all houses in this quarter were destroyed. Miraculously, the JHP was completely preserved, except for the roof trusses.
