Renovation Neue Nationalgalerie

The Neue Nationalgalerie is one of the late works of world-famous architect Ludwig MIES VAN DER ROHE. It opened in 1968 and has since housed the National Gallery’s collection of 20th-century art. The building was renovated between 2015 and 2021 by David Chipperfield Architects under strict heritage protection requirements.
