In 1890, the general officer, physician and writer, who translated German language literary to the Japanese public. MORI Ōgai rented the house for one year. About ten years after ŌGAI, from 1903 to 1906, the writer NATSUME Sōseki also lived in this house. Here he wrote his masterpiece “I Am a Cat”.
