Seaside Momochi is Fukuoka’s futuristic seaside district, built on reclaimed land. It consists of a mixture of modern architecture, a street lined with buildings designed by international architects, extensive parks and maritime flair. There are also numerous public artworks and sculptures, giving the neighbourhood the feel of an open-air museum, among others, ‘The Great Bird in Love’ by Niki DE SAINT PHALLE.
