The country pavilions and other buildings are surrounded by the Grand Ring, a twenty-metre-high wooden ring structure with a diameter of 675 metres and a circumference of just under two kilometres, which is the largest of its kind in the world and is intended to reflect the concept of ‘diversity in unity’. Visitors can walk around the site on a skywalk on the green roof.
