Historical Shimbashi Railway Station, built in 1872. From 1872 to 1914, Shimbashi was the starting point of Japan’s oldest railway line between Tôkyô and Yokohama. The station was destroyed by Kantô Earthquake in 1923 and only rebuilt around 80 years later, in 2004.
