Amare (The Hague)

Amare is the education and culture building on the Spui in The Hague. The name refers to the Italian verb amare = to love and a mare = by the sea. It was called OCC (educational and cultural complex) by the municipality during its development. There is now the theatre hall of the Nederlands Dans Theater, which has moved here from the immediate vicinity, as well as the NDT black box (NDT rehearsal hall).
