年中行事 nenchû gyôji
“Ceremonies in the course of the year” – nenchû gyôji – are influenced by indigenous traditions as well as Chinese astrology, calendar lore and yin-yang teachings. Today’s annually recurring festivals and holidays were originally embedded in the lunar calendar = beginning of the month with the full moon.
